Who are Sky?
Sky (British Sky Broadcasting Group, also known as BskyB) are a British satellite television, broadband and Telecommunications Company based in London and listed on the London Stock Exchange. Formed in 1990 by the merger between British Satellite Broadcasting and Sky Television, BskyB are now the largest company in the UK satellite services market with over 10 million monthly Pay TV subscribers. 21st Century Fox owns the controlling share of the company. Sky are most widely known for their screening rights over the majority of the UK Premiership football matches, although this position has been diluted somewhat over the last year after they lost some of those rights to the new BT channel BTSport who now share those rights.

Sky has continued to strengthen its sports offering.
